The first time I got to see The Women’s House, they were still remodeling. I got to volunteer, help[ing] set up the beds.  I had no idea a few years later I would be a guest there.

When I walked in the door for the first time, they made me feel like a guest. All the women were just wonderful, all the way from the top down to the bottom. I wouldn’t be here today if, you know, if they hadn’t stepped in and helped me. It really was like a family.

There were days I would come in from work late at night and they would have my dinner ready for me. There’s nothing they wouldn’t do for a guest, and I can’t even really begin to list all the wonderful things.

Everyone has shared all their gifts and talents so that I have found mine. And because of them now I can share mine.
