Brian Harris
Executive Director
Brian Harris has worked with The Davies Shelters since 2015. He holds a BS and MA in psychology from the University of West GA, is licensed as an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) in the State of GA and is an active member of the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of GA (LPCA) and the American Academy of Psychotherapists (AAP). He was recently published in Voices: The Art and Science of Psychotherapy, the academic journal of AAP.

Alex Callahan
Director of Operations
Director of Operations, Alex Callahan manages daily operations and is also one of our In-House Counselors, helping guests overcome personal issues. Alex holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of West Georgia and is licensed as an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) in the State of Georgia.

Taylor Ritchie
Development Administrator
Taylor Ritchie is a native Roman and handles volunteer management, assists with grant writing and grant reporting, and does anything that requires a spreadsheet. She completely managed the Davies rebrand for the 20th Anniversary (including designing all new logos) and revamped the website. Taylor graduated from Auburn University in 2012 and spent 4 years with the Rome Floyd Chamber. She is a board member for local group Romanos Unidos, has been on the board of the local NAACP chapter, and is also a Certified Diversity Professional® (CDP), earning that title in 2021.
