I Know Someone Who Needs Shelter
Potential Guests are encouraged to call in advance to see if spaces are available however, we do not hold spots. Beds are first come, first serve.

Do you house homeless children/teens?
The Davies Shelters do not house unaccompanied minors. Our Women & Children’s House can house mothers with children but, if you know a minor in need of housing, we recommend contacting the Open Door Home of Rome
Can I complete my community service hours at The Davies Shelters?
Yes! If you have not been charged with a crime involving children, sign up in the same way as all other volunteers at www.daviesshelter.com/getinvolved and mention that you are completing community service hours. We can accommodate your needs.
Can I Donate Clothes or Household Items to Guests?
While we appreciate the desire to give to our guests, the shelters have limited storage space. We recommend donating items and clothing to our partners at the Hospitality Thrift Store or Goodwill. Our guests have access to those places as needed.
