The Davies Shelters’ Neighbor Society is a giving community for monthly donors. You can join the Neighbor Society by making an online monthly gift of $15 or more per month.
Becoming a monthly donor is easy and convenient – you don’t have to write a check, plan for a large one-time gift, or keep up with how recently you gave. And when you donate by bank transfer, you don’t have to worry about expiration dates or credit card fees.
The Davies Shelters’ Builder Society is a giving community of donors committed to building the future of The Davies Shelters. Builder Society members have made a commitment to give $1,000, $5,000, or $10,000 per year for the next 5 years.
Walmart/Grocery Gift Cards
Because each guest has different needs and we get new guests constantly, a great way to give to The Davies Shelters is to buy walmart or grocery store gift cards so we can get immediate needs of items and food.
Other Ways to Give
Bicycles & Helmets
Transportation is an important part of finding stability. Guests need to be able to get to work and appointments but public transit doesn’t currently reach every corner of the area. Bicycles are a great way to give the gift of access to people who need it.

Why Should I Donate to The Davies Shelters?
The Davies Shelters are homeless shelters who help people who are in need of shelter overcome the obstacles on their journey to stable living.
How Do The Davies Shelters Avoid Duplication of Services?
The Davies Shelters are the only Shelters of our kind in the Rome/Floyd County Area. When guests are in need of assistance outside of Counseling and Case Management, we work with other, existing organizations to avoid creating programs that already exist elsewhere.
Where Does My Donation Go?
Donations go to our general fund that supports the operation of the Shelters. Your donation will help us pay general bills, staff the shelter, prepare meals, and keep our guests comfortable and provide the services that we supply.

Can I Donate Clothes , Toys and Items?
Because we have limited storage space, we don’t keep clothes or toys on-site. Guests are able to get needed clothing and items through local partners like The Hospitality House Thrift Store or Goodwill.
