The Men’s Shelter on 18th Street is the culmination of years of hard work. The William S. Davies Homeless Shelters began as a men’s shelter on South Broad Street in 2003. After nearly two years of fundraising and planning, the Shelter opened the new Men’s Shelter in fall 2016.

The 4,5500-square-foot Men’s Shelter on 18th Street has beds for 16 men at a time. This newly-constructed ADA-compliant facility allows us to provide services for our guests to help them build their best future, including enhanced training and education programs, on-site case management and collaborations with outside agencies, a commercial-grade kitchen, and an on-site community garden.
